Jennings Human Resources is comprised of federal programs and personnel services. The Federal Programs and Personnel Services Department provides the employees of Jennings School District with quality resources and knowledgeable, personalized assistance in a professional and timely manner. Our goal is to provide a world-class workplace through a model of responsive, efficient, and exemplary customer service to all our employees.
- Personnel Services works to maintain employer-employee relationships that contribute to outstanding productivity, motivation, and morale. Essentially, personnel services is concerned with preventing and resolving problems involving individuals which arise out of or affect work situations.
- Federal Programs, including Title I, are intended to help ensure that all children who reside in low social economic areas have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging state academic standards and assessments. It provides flexible funding that may be used to provide additional instructional staff, professional development, extended-time programs, and other strategies for raising student achievement. It also focuses on promoting school-wide reform and ensures students' access to scientifically-based instructional strategies and challenging academic content.
